Rosie Lowe is a singer, songwriter and producer based in London. Over the last decade the Devon-born, Deptford-based artist has carved out a space as one of British music’s most idiosyncratic artists. Her debut album, Control, and follow-up, YU, were released via Paul Epworth’s Wolf Tone label, earning critical acclaim with features in the Guardian and British Vogue as well as support from Radio 1 and 6Music. Her effortless vocals also brought attention from her peers, spawning collaborations with artists including Jay Electronica, Little Simz, Machinedrum and Lil Silva amongst others and a sample by hip-hop goliaths Future & Juice Wrld on ‘No Issue’.
The singer, songwriter and producer is now an independently signed artist, having moved to Blue Flowers in 2020, and is enjoying a renewed sense of creative liberty as a result. Able to focus more on creatively progressive work, the earliest result was a joint album with Duval Timothy, Son, labelled “a record of superhuman beauty” by Pitchfork.
